In the realm of karma, the Word is Power.
No one else dwells there,
except the warriors of great power, the spiritual heroes.
They are totally fulfilled, imbued with Ram's Essence.
Myriads of Sitas are there, cool and calm in their majestic glory.
Their beauty cannot be described.
Neither death nor deception comes to those,
within whose minds Ram abides.
The devotees of many worlds dwell there.
They celebrate; their minds are imbued with the True Lord.
In the realm of Truth, the Formless Lord abides.
Having created the creation, He watches over it. By His Glance of Grace, He bestows happiness.
There are planets, solar systems and galaxies.
If one speaks of them, there is no limit, no end.
There are worlds upon worlds of His Creation.
As He commands, so they exist.
He watches over all, and contemplating the creation, He rejoices.

Please read comment carefully I have read your translations and you are or you are deliberately outing in the name of Ram in your translations ..if you are a Hinduvata who is misleading people stop it , the correct translation at line 4 is not imbued with Ram's Essence but imbued with the Lords Esssence . please translate Sikh Gurbani correctly
ReplyDeleteDear reader, if you know either Punjabi or Hindi then you could check the original words and you'll find word Ram in original Bani. However, my effort is to correctly translate the Bani and if you find some mistake then let me know and I'll correct it.
DeleteRam and Lord are one and the same, the only misleading thing is duality.
DeleteThe description in Gurmat is totally against the Hindu's version of Ram.
ReplyDeleteIn Hindu chronicle, Rama was a king of Ayodhya, who was thrown out of kingdom then some person called Ravana stole his wife; Sita and he remain tangle in bringing her back. When he achieved her, he then suspect her piousness, and made Sita sit on fire to prove his chastity. After listening to a washer man that he had throw his pregnant wife out of kingdom. She gave birth to two sons in house of Valmiki named Lav and Kush. Those found their father again and became his successor. King Ramchandra did suicide in Sarayu river. In Dasam Granth, Guru Gobind Singh narrates history of King Ramachandra of Ayodhya.
In Gurmat, Rama is not physical entity but Spiritual entity. The difference is cleared in Sikh texts where prevalent King Ramachandra is written as "Tumra Raam" and the Raam that prevails in all is written as "Hamara Ram".
