ਬਾਬੀਹਾ ਸਗਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਜੇ ਫਿਰਹਿ ਊਡਿ ਚੜਹਿ ਆਕਾਸਿ ॥
बाबीहा सगली धरती जे फिरहि ऊडि चड़हि आकासि ॥
The rainbird wanders all over the earth, soaring high through the skies.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਜਲੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਚੂਕੈ ਭੂਖ ਪਿਆਸ ॥
सतिगुरि मिलिऐ जलु पाईऐ चूकै भूख पिआस ॥
But it obtains the drop of water, only when it meets the True Guru, and then, its hunger and thirst are relieved.

ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਪਾਸਿ ॥
जीउ पिंडु सभु तिस का सभु किछु तिस कै पासि ॥
Life and body and all belong to Him; everything is His.

ਵਿਣੁ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਕੀਚੈ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥
विणु बोलिआ सभु किछु जाणदा किसु आगै कीचै अरदासि ॥
He knows everything, without being told; unto whom should we offer our prayers?

ਨਾਨਕ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਏਕੋ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਸਬਦਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥੫੮॥
नानक घटि घटि एको वरतदा सबदि करे परगास ॥५८॥
O Nanak, the One is pervading each and every heart; the Word brings illumination. ||58||

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੈ ਬਸੰਤੁ ਹੈ ਜਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
नानक तिसै बसंतु है जि सतिगुरु सेवि समाइ ॥
O Nanak, the season of spring comes to one who serves the True Guru.

ਹਰਿ ਵੁਠਾ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਪਰਫੜੈ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹਰੀਆਵਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੫੯॥
हरि वुठा मनु तनु सभु परफड़ै सभु जगु हरीआवलु होइ ॥५९॥
When Lord Hri dwells, whole mind and body get blissful, and the entire world turns green (like spring season). ||59||

ਸਬਦੇ ਸਦਾ ਬਸੰਤੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਤੁ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥
सबदे सदा बसंतु है जितु तनु मनु हरिआ होइ ॥
Through Word there is always spring; and which rejuvenates the mind and body.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਸਿਰਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥੬੦॥
नानक नामु न वीसरै जिनि सिरिआ सभु कोइ ॥६०॥
O Nanak, do not forget the Name, which has created all. ||60||

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨਾ ਬਸੰਤੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
नानक तिना बसंतु है जिना गुरमुखि वसिआ मनि सोइ ॥
O Nanak, it is the spring season, for those disciples of Guru within whose minds the Lord abides.

ਹਰਿ ਵੁਠੈ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਪਰਫੜੈ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥੬੧॥
हरि वुठै मनु तनु परफड़ै सभु जगु हरिआ होइ ॥६१॥
When Lord Hri dwells, the mind and body get blissful, and all the world is rejuvenated. ||61||
